  The Deore FC-M5100-2 crankset from Shimano is the first 11-speed crankset with the Deore label. It comes with two chainrings that are attached using a classic 4-arm spider. The chain line is 48.8 mm, i.e. H. the distance from the frame to the center between the chainrings, in the standard range, which is why the crank is compatible with frames with 142 mm installation width. The 2-piece construction ensures a balanced ratio of rigidity to weight.

The Shimano Deore FD-M5100-M Front Derailleur is intended for 2x11-speed drives and inspires there with impeccable function. It was equipped with the side-swing construction, which ensures greater freedom and more switching performance with lower operating forces. FD-M5100 is designed for a large chainring with a maximum of 36 teeth, whereby the difference between the chainrings may be up to 10 teeth. A conventional chain line of 48.8 mm as well as a chain line 3 mm further out are possible. The front derailleur can be with a medium-high clamp (Mid Clamp).
